I came to England in 1967. I came with my uncle. I’ve worked in Haslington, in a cotton mill in Todmorden, in a factory in Leeds as a machine operator. And in a restaurant in Skipton. I’ve also been back to Bangladesh sometimes for a holiday and to see family. I have three boys and four girls. All are married except two of the girls. I’ve found people very helpful. I haven’t had any trouble from racism. I’ve now been in England more than fifty years. I’m glad I came.
