I was in the RAF and I was a cook in the cookhouse. And there was a sports day, and we were asked to make two thousand jam tarts for the sports day. When the day came, and we were going to make the stuff, we suddenly realised we hadn’t enough jam, and we only had enough jam for one thousand jam tarts. So, we sent a thousand jam tarts and a thousand lemon cheese tarts. And the end of the story is that on the Monday we got the thousand lemon cheese tarts back – nobody ate them!
