My life took a huge u-turn. I had been a teacher for science and mathematics in Chapel Allerton Primary School. I did it for six months and then I had a severe stroke and had to stop. I couldn’t stand, my balance was gone, my speech was gone, my memory was gone. It was a very severe stroke. I was in a wheelchair. I couldn’t even express my feelings, how I was feeling. I was thinking who am I. I forgot my name. And slowly and slowly, because I was a science student I knew what to do - that I would slowly and slowly talk and begin physical activities, my memory and how to improve it. I would hold the wall in the flat to make my balance happen. It took about thirty years - but now I can speak - and I can walk. It took a long time. But I did it myself.
My hobby is learning, increasing my knowledge in medical science, I had wanted to be a doctor but I couldn’t so my hobby is to read and to learn. I have lived my life with my own courage.
