Like my Uncle Bill I will just give that laugh… heh-heh-heh!
Steve Whitby
Memories come flooding back to me, silly situations, crimes
Like a tap turned on full at times!
They pool …flood into my mind
So vivid are some dreams
Mixed up people, countries, streaming lies and rhymes….
Movie scenes - some funny
Some sad, traumatic, extreme
Since this old battered heart of mine of 63
Has been cured, and is now more upbeat you see…
It’s sending lots of locked-away memories of situations -moments that left me numb, angry, traumatised, alarmed some
Not pleasant …they come rushing in…
Combined with a bad night with the apnea of minimal sleep
Turns me into a crazy bear in a dark forest deep
Thoughts go the next day haywire
To dizzy heights I aspire…
Dozing off…Narcolepsy?
Like a Coke rather than a Pepsi! (Hyper!)
So if I appear to be Mr Jekyll one day you are fine… OK?
However the next day Mr Hyde may decide…
To put in an appearance unwelcome exhaustion, intolerant remarks, small issues give off many sparks!
Caught in the crossfire
The people around me I barks
out bile and spew!
This I work on to overcome-
Watch less of the News at One
Do more reading, meeting prep
Not watching someone’s twisted opinions and views…
Music helps bring back many memories…
Some happy - some not so
In the end I manage…
Quite well
Not quite yet down-and-out
Quieter now
No need to always be vocal…and shout!
About stuff I can’t change…
Like my Uncle Bill I will just give that laugh… heh-heh-heh!
At the irony and satire of it all!
“A bloody joke”.. he used to say
(in an Aussie/ SA accent)
“What the hells gonna happen today?”…lol! !!
A messed up world and we do Fortunately know why
Live well hey?!!
Live and let die!
