One thing that we’ve established is that everywhere talks about loneliness and older people. When we were younger and you went to the local shops they had a chair to sit down have a chat with the shopkeeper and people would come in and out. I didn’t sit down but I can remember there’s always someone older sat down. There was kindness there as well. Now if you go to the Asda you can do all the shopping and come out and you don’t have to speak to a human being. You have to use a self service till and like technology everything is making you more and more isolated. But there’s always someone that will come round and give you a hand and I am pleased about that.
