I worked at Wilsons Pram Factory, 7,30 am - 5.30 pm for seven shillings a week. After that I went to work in Bradford at Amblers Mill for twenty two shillings a week. I paid a shilling a week train fare. Later we went on strike so I came back to Leeds to work in tailoring.
