I worked at Gloucester Clothing Co., I was a runabout, I had to go from one to other machine and then to presses and I used to have to out for t’dinners. Well one day I went out, right down to North Street to a shop for sommat. When I came outI could see everyone looking up, so I looked up and I could see a big Zeppelin going over. Cause I stood there watching it and when I got back I were late. There were all waiting for their dinners. This was just after First World War, 1927. I got t’sack for being late.
