My mother, Winifred Nunn and her three sisters went to Thorsby Girls High School in the 1930’s. It was on Great George Street and the building still stands.

I was born in Leeds but brought up in Nottinghamshire. In 1990, 60 years later I found myself practising legal aid family law at John Davies & Co also on Great George Street. I felt somehow ‘at home’ on the street.
