I enjoy fishing - and if the fish are not biting I find something else to do, so I take a ferret and some nets and I go and catch a rabbit.

You put the ferret down the burrow and it chases the rabbit out. You put nets over them first, then you put the ferret in, and with a little bit of luck a rabbit will come out.

I do all sorts of daft things.

The public health man came and he said “You’ve got a ferret under the bed.”

I said “I know.”

He said “What about the smell?”

I said “The ferrets’ll have to get used to it!”
