I created my fanciful signature when I was in the RAF. I worked in stores and every piece of paper you did you had to sign it. The only trouble was there was three of us in an office of four with the initials DB. So I found a special way of making mine stand out by writing the three letters on top of each other. And it stuck. It’s how I’ve signed my name ever since.
