One of the challenges for me is issues of living in rented housing, and care of housing and people. The council put a tenant next door to me who had severe learning disabilities and mental health problems, and wasn’t able to maintain the house, so the garden went wild, there was bind weed everywhere and because of how she lived it got over run with mice and rats. It was really hard and it has taken years for anything to be done about it. I suffer with anxiety already, and I used to spend months crying. I love my garden but it really affected it. At one point I even felt suicidal. I’m disabled, I live alone and it was really hard to cope.
