My mobility scooter, that’s my freedom. I used to drive, then it became harder to get the blue badge. I’m not PC literate, I tried to get help in the library. One woman was not very helpful, she just turned the computer on and said here you go and I just left because I didn't know what to do, but another member of staff was really helpful. Then the blue badge expired and I use a mobility scooter now because I felt like I might be a risk to others in a car.

When I'm on my mobility scooter I feel pretty safe because I have an alarm. If I’m on it and it goes off I’m really well known here on the Lane, I’m friends with lots of people and lots of shop owners, so I feel like if anything happened people would be there for me.

Stuff has been taken off the scooter so I don't decorate it as much now.
