Precis

“Retirement Reflections” is a lengthy poem containing my whole Life Story up till now.

Born in 1958 in Apartheid South-Africa it documents the trials and tears laced with humour and uncompromising honesty and the triumph of good over evil.

A decision to move abroad to the UK (with no particular area in mind on where to settle)

The challenges faced in a new country, culture, environment etc…are addressed directly.

Family, differing agendas, rocky relationships candid, honest (warts and all) with wit and humour.

Over the Covid 19 lockdowns I discovered a new talent - poetry - a fan of Pam Ayers.

Have written over 350 now over nearly 3 years.
