So, you know, we had some good times.

When I were about 16, I worked in a tailoring factory, and there were about six of us on the same table for lunch. And it were the time when the egg diet were in fashion, so that you’d have a load of eggs every single day. One of the ladies used to mash a pot of tea for us all, and while she were mashing the tea she’d give her three eggs to one of the friends to take down to the table for lunch. So, this went on for quite a long time, and so one day, my friend Mary who had to carry the eggs down to the table, she says ‘watch Kath’s face when she comes back.’ So, Kath came back and then she started banging her eggs on the table to take the shell off. One of the eggs was raw – Mary had changed the cooked egg for the raw egg! Well, it just went all over the table. When you’re 16, that were just hysterical - big uproar. So, you know, we had some good times.
