So one day, this guy pulls up in a what I think was a Cresta. He tells me 4 gallons of Esso Golden and he goes off to pay for it. I see he’s opened the hole ready for the pump so I put the pump in. He comes back shouting at me “what are you doing!”, so I say “I’m filling your tank with petrol”. He said “your flooding my xxxxx boot, that’s where my light fell off. I had to pay for the petrol, but I imagine he dined out on the story.
